Mark Carter Photography is the love child of its founder and owner, Mark DeWitt Carter.  Opened in 2003 the studio is a sole proprietorship owned and operated by Mark.  Prior to that time Mark was doing freelance photography between New York and D.C.
 
Mark is a self-taught photographer with an artists eye and mastery of digital photography.  He artfully utilizes lighting, background and staging to fit the mood of the client and what they are trying to convey in the photograph.  He always assures his clients that if they can verbalize it, he can create it visually.  He strives for artistic and creative excellence to provide an outstanding finished product for the client.
 
Mark Carter Photography's clients have included corporations, business professionals, models, music artists and everyday people.  He shoots weddings, fashion, special events and special projects upon request.
